The LoveMoreMovement is the brainchild of Sarit Z Rogers of Sarit Photography and her husband, Joseph Rogers. They saw an opportunity to bring attention to and celebrate those intent on doing the shadow work, who approach difficulties with love and who love with intent. It's no small feat to reach toward suffering; It's human nature to recoil. But so many in our communities are doing this work painstakingly and without question. The LoveMore Movement wants to celebrate these individuals and inspire others to do the same.
This all started from a conversation between Sarit and Joseph Rogers where Sarit had an epiphany about the greed and clinging in the world at large. So instead of needing MORE love, she flipped it and started to encourage people to LOVE MORE. To make this a reality, Sarit decided to begin photographing people who are working with society's shadow side. Folks who have dedicated their lives to being of service and helping others. Folks who have dedicated their lives to being the light in the dark, honoring their own shadows. They are already living their lives with their hearts on their sleeves! Before she knew it, this because a full-blown book idea. To further the plan, each person will be interviewed to answer the following questions: "How do you love more?" What inspires you to do what you do? How would you inspire others to be of service. Additionally, Sarit will write about how her path crossed theirs, including links to their causes, and/or ways in which to reach them.
As the idea grew, so did the need to fund the movement and also give back to the community, so we created tees, stickers, and patches to help get the word out on a grassroots level and to support our mission.
We want to bring LoveMore to YOU. We want to discover the paths of the unknown, unsung heroes because we known you are out there, working diligently to affect change. We want to inspire youth to get out of themselves and be of service. We want to to facilitate the transformational process of cracking your heart wide open. We don't need more love; we need to Love More. This movement is about generosity and being of service. This is a Compassion Revolution.
